Dear Friends in Christ,

He is Risen! Alleluia! Alleluia! Happy Easter! I especially extend a warm welcome to anyone who is visiting with us from other places or faith backgrounds. As we gather today, we celebrate the beautiful gift of life that God has blessed each of us with. If you are with us today but do not worship with our community on a regular basis, I welcome you home to the Catholic Church and extend an invitation to visit with me or our Staff to answer any questions you may have. We are here to serve you and to guide you in the journey of the beauty of our Catholic faith.

During the Easter Season we focus on celebrations of the Sacraments of Initiation. On Holy Thursday, we welcomed four people into full Communion with the Church. At our Vigil Mass we welcomed five newly initiated Catholics into the Catholic Church. In a few weeks we will be celebrating First Eucharist with the children of our Parish and monthly we celebrate the gift of Baptism. Soon we will also be confirming 40 of our youth at the Cathedral of St. Paul. Through the Sacrament of Baptism we are introduced into a life of Faith and an amazing journey with the Lord. I pray that, as we continue to walk together towards a personal and intimate relationship with Christ, we may grow towards embracing a heart that is burning to know, love, and serve God by loving and serving others.

Is your heart burning to know, love and serve God? Consider joining our Pentecost Mission! Our Pentecost Mission is a seven week Small Group Study on the Holy Spirit called The Wild Goose! The Wild Goose was a term that the ancient Celts used for the Holy Spirit and apart from the Wild Goose (Holy Spirit) there is no life. The program invites all Catholics to a more profound relationship with the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit that brings our dead hearts back to life. He transforms us, and makes all things new. He is God’s love outpoured. To learn more and experience more of Him, join us in the journey of a lifetime that leads to the very heart of God. The group will be meeting on Thursdays at 7:00 pm starting April 20. We will gather, watch a short video, and have discussion on what is prevalent in your life and how to let God into those places. To register or with any questions, contact Duane Bauer at dbauer@mmotc.org or 952-890-0045 ext. 230 or to view the flyer, click here.

I pray that you and your loved ones have a Blessed Easter! When you come before the Lord, please pray for me, for the other Priests who serve our Parish and for our Staff. Know that we will pray for you, your loved ones, and your intentions.

My love in Christ,
Through Mary, Mother of the Church
