Beverly Wallace

November 29, 1927 – February 05, 2019

BeverlyIrene Wallace, age 91 of Burnsville, MN passed away peacefully after a busy day of singing and group activities at her home at the Rivers Senior Living Community in Burnsville. Bev was a registered nurse for 40+ years, working at Worthington Regional Hospital as an OB Nurse and as the evening supervisor. Bev and Dave were longtime members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Worthington and St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Bella Vista, AR. They were both very active in their community and often did volunteer work.  After Bev and Dave retired, they moved to Bella Vista, AR where they spent 22 years enjoying warmer weather, golf, and many new friends. They moved to the Burnsville area in 2011 to be closer to their family.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Margaret Oanes, and brother, Bob (Corky) Oanes and infant grandson, David Lawrence Wallace. Bev is survived by her husband of 69 years, Dave; children, Scott (Raedelle), Jan Gilmore, Bob (Marilyn), Mike, and Patty (James) Field; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson, sisters in law, Kay Andrews and Jane Nolde, and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Monday, March 18, 2019, at Mary Mother of the Church in Burnsville, with a gathering of family and friends starting at 10 AM. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to Fairview Hospice, American Heart Association or Mary Mother of the Church.
