On January 22, prolife communities across the U.S. mark the anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision of Roe v. Wade that struck down pro-life laws across the U.S. and legalized abortion throughout the nation.
Each year, Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL) hosts a pro-life March at the state capitol. The purpose of the March is to commemorate the 60 million+ lives lost to abortion (and the women and men who have been hurt as a result) and to call for renewed respect and protection for unborn children and their mothers. This year, due to the fact that the capitol building has been shut down, MCCL has decided to host a virtual march at 12 noon on January 22. This virtual March can be viewed on the MCCL website or on their Facebook page.
At Mary Mother, on Friday, January 22, we will have Adoration from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm in the Church. Please join us to pray for the end of abortion in the U.S. and around the world. At the start of each hour, we will pray the rosary in reparation for the sin of abortion and for healing for all those who have been wounded by abortion.
