Consecration to St. Joseph

Archbishop Hebda has asked the faithful of the diocese to join with him in a 33-day Consecration to St. Joseph.  “With a number of dioceses throughout the U.S., we will be observing a Year of St. Joseph, beginning Dec. 8, 2020. On that date, the Church Universal will be marking the 150th anniversary of Pope Pius IX’s proclamation of St. Joseph as the Patron of the Universal Church. Our hope is that the Year of St. Joseph will be a source of renewal in our local Church, most especially as we continue our preparations for the Synod of 2022.”

This 33-day period of preparation begins Friday, November 6. It will conclude December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and the day the “Year of St. Joseph” will begin in the Archdiocese. During these preparation days, parisioners of Mary Mother and families of Unity High School are invited to participate in small groups supporting each other along the way.  These meetings will be held at 6:30am in the Assembly Room at Mary Mother, each Monday - November 9 through December 7. Please join us!

We will be using Fr. Donald Calloway’s book Consecration to St. Joseph: The Wonders of Our Spiritual Father as a guide. Fifty copies of this book are now available at the parish office. The price for these books is $15. Stop by during office hours to pick one up.

It's not too late to join us!
