Update: After meeting with our Catholic bishops and other faith leaders, Governor Walz will be amending his "Stay Safe Minnesota" executive order to allow churches and other houses of worship to open beginning Wednesday, May 27, with capacity limited to 25% of the building's capacity or 250 people, whichever is less. See the Letter to the Faithful from the Archbishop here.
This does not change Mary Mother's plans to restart the public celebration of the Mass beginning on May 30 at the 4:00pm Mass.
The bishops of Minnesota have allowed pastors to resume the public celebration of the Mass beginning next week. After careful consideration and planning, Mary, Mother of the Church will begin welcoming our parishioners back beginning with the Saturday Mass, May 30, the great feast of Pentecost.
There will be communication forthcoming on guidelines for your health and safety. Please continue to check the website. If you have any questions, you are welcome to call the church office.
For an idea of what guidelines will be in place, see these guidelines from the Archdiocese.
