Making a Connection to Sunday Liturgy

Faith Formation for our youth and their families at Mary Mother takes a holistic approach. It begins by emphasizing the importance of being connected and committed as a family to the Sunday liturgy. From there, all families with youth in grades 6-12 are encouraged to participate in the formation sessions prepared specifically for them.

To ensure that their faith is developed in a nurturing environment, a number of different service and social outreach experiences are offered connecting them to the life of the Mary Mother community. The year begins with parent/youth orientations for grades 6-10. Youth sessions meet weekly on Wednesday evenings, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Parent and adult participation is vital for the success of our evenings together. Sessions run from September through May.
