Baptism

As the first and foundational sacrament, Baptism symbolizes the death and resurrection of Christ, incorporating recipients into the Church in a bond of unity. Using water to represent this spiritual rebirth, the recipient is cleansed of sin and adopted into the family of God.

The Baptism of Children at Mary, Mother of the Church

The following steps apply to Baptism for children under the age of 7. If you would like to have an older child Baptized, please call the parish office at 952-890-0045.

The first step to having your baby receive the Sacrament of Baptism is to become a member of our Parish Community.

If you are already a member and have not had a child baptized at Mary, Mother of the Church you will need to register for our baptism class by filling out this form. Please read the entire form carefully.
