General Operations at Mary Mother
As Christians, we are all called to be stewards of the blessings we receive in life. The act of stewardship is to gratefully acknowledge the God-given gifts with which we’ve been entrusted, develop those gifts to honor God, and generously share those gifts with others.
The core ways you can be a steward is in Generosity, Participation, and Prayer.
Your generosity of Time, Talent, and Treasure will help build the parish and help others encounter God.
Some simple constant needs we have at Mary Mother include:
- Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament (All we do is rooted in prayer and encounter with Christ)
- Ministry Volunteers (Internal committees, councils, and commissions require members with a variety of talents including cleaning and maintenance, musical gifts, financial awareness, youth ministry and formation, comforting others, crafting, and more)
- Financial contributions are necessary in any home, and as your spiritual home, the cost of heating and cooling, building maintenance, building upgrades, and staffing require ever increasing support.
- The General Operating Fund supports costs like payroll, utilities, and maintenance.
- Special Collections serve immediate needs in our parish community
- External Special Collections support a number of Archdiocesan, National, and Global needs.
