Parish Weather Closure Policy
Weather-related closures at Mary, Mother of the Church will be determined based on guidance from the School District #191 and the National Weather Service. If District #191 closes school due to the weather, the Church will also be closed and all activities canceled. The National Weather Service will be a guide for closures outside of school hours. Decisions will prioritize the safety of parishioners and staff. Parishioners are encouraged to check the Parish Website and Facebook page for the most up-to-date information. *Wednesday Children’s and Youth Faith Formation will be canceled if District 191 or 196 makes a mid-day decision to cancel afternoon or evening school activities. Parents will be notified via email by 2:00pm.
Physical Donation Guidelines
We gratefully accept: Blessed religious or sacramental items in need of respectful disposal, non-expired, non-perishable food items (via our food shelf program), monetary donations (online, during Mass, or via our secure office dropbox). We kindly ask that no other items be donated. Thank you for helping us keep our space sacred and organized.
