The Youth Formation Program at MMOTC strives to provide opportunities for the youth of the parish to foster a relationship with the Lord, grow in knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Christian Faith, and to engage them in community life that witnesses and supports their faith growth.

Youth Faith Formation
Youth Formation at MMOTC is held on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 pm, generally starting in the Fireside Room on the lower level. Our First Fifteen minutes are used to break open the coming Sunday Gospel, then we break into faith sharing Small Groups. Let us know how you're willing to serve! Throughout the year we’ll use a variety of styles to help your child learn the richness of our Catholic faith and experiential learning to help them encounter and know our merciful Lord. This will include speakers, Bible studies, video sessions and small group discussions. In small groups they’ll build a safe community where they can ask their big questions, share their doubts, their faith, and encourage one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. Mary Mother is in need of more small group leaders, Wednesday hospitality help and a team of Pray-ers for our youth ministry.
Throughout the year there are a variety of ways our Middle and High School youth can engage in parish life and build community. Check out our Summer opportunities like Extreme Faith Camp, Summer Stretch, Catalyst Youth Group. During the school year we offer peer ministry, choir, opportunities to serve in the Liturgy, Living Stations of the Cross, fun nights, service events and more.
Getting Involved at Mass
Mary, Mother asks that each young person in our youth formation programs learn to be active in parish life by offering at least 10 hours of service at MMOTC. This could include a role at Mass or helping out any of our ministries, like singing in the choir. Youth and families help with Living Stations, decorating the church, Sunday hospitality and so much more. Our involved you always talk about how much serving in the liturgy helps them connect to the Lord and our parish community.
