Monstrance for Vocations

Feb. 9-10, Chapel, regular Adoration hours, Mary Mother hosting Pope Benedict XVI’s Monstrance.

All are invited to spend time in Adoration while this very special monstrance is here to pray for an increase in vocations. During the Year of the Eucharist (2005) Pope Saint John Paul II asked Pope Benedict XVI (then Cardinal Ratzinger) to promise that when he became pope he would send forth a Monstrance for Vocations. When JPII passed away that year, Pope Benedict honored his promise by entrusting a special monstrance to Serra International for Adoration for vocations and healing.
