Reach Out to a Family This Thanksgiving

Make a Difference - Be the Hands and Feet of Christ 

Since 2002, Mary Mother’s parishioners have made or contributed to Thanksgiving Dinner Baskets. These baskets were distributed to community families experiencing food instability to help make their Thanksgiving Holiday a time of joy. Our support over the past several years has been different due to the challenges of the pandemic. This year, Mary Mother is revitalizing the effort to make this program strong again. To be successful, we need your help. Over the next few months, you can be involved by:

• Donating individual food items. 

• Making a complete basket for a family of four - this includes shopping (a list of food items will be provided) assembling the decorated basket, and delivering the basket to the church. 

• Making Thanksgiving cards to be included in baskets.

• Volunteering to help Faith Formation families assemble baskets. 

• Praying for families receiving baskets. 

• Donating financially during November Outreach.
